BP
As a teacher and cultural guide to the UAE, Ali Saloom is first-class. For BP employees in Abu Dhabi, his sessions have been hugely effective in transferring knowledge about Emirati culture and history, delivered in an engaging and entertaining style.
Lucy Scott, Head of Secondary, BISAD. The British International School, Abu Dhabi , Nord Anglia Education Limited.
We found the Ask Ali presentation to be both engaging and informative for our students. Ali was able to engage a diverse audience of students and parents, of different ages and cultures; all finding him equally entertaining. The mix of enlightening information and humour was especially effective and I would recommend him to any school.

Jonathan Hughes-D'Aeth, Headmaster. Repton School, Dubai
I have been delighted this afternoon by the number of pupils and staff who have commented to me about how informative and entertaining they found your talks at Repton today. Thank you so much for a memorable series of events which the pupils and the staff will remember for some time to come. Certainly it has been a great way to fire up the school in preparation for our National Day celebrations next week. As I said at the end of your Senior School Assembly, you did indeed create a very special interest and enthusiasm today and I and Repton School are extremely grateful to you. With best wishes and thanks

Dr Jan Wilson , Director of Schools , Taaleem-EdisonLearning , Abu Dhabi
Mr Ali’s key note speech at the recent Taaleem-EdisonLearning Conference for the teachers and senior staff of the four government schools, which are currently working in partnership with Taaleem-EdisonLearning as part of the PPP programme, was inspiring and very relevant to the changing context of education in the Abu Dhabi emirate. The participants enjoyed the stories from Mr Ali’s life which were used to illustrate the main points as they found these amusing, humorous and empathetic to the challenges that they face on a daily basis. This was a lively presentation delivered in a relaxed manner which focused on the continuing promotion of the heritage and culture of the UAE within the context of educational reform, which chimed appropriately to the values of the audience.

Thank you so much Ali for an outstanding cultural tour and briefing of both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, two very different and diverse cities. We learned a great deal about the UAE in a very short amount of time, and the Yale University faculty and administrators who participated in your program benefited very much from the in depth knowledge that you and your associates possess. I highly recommend Embrace Arabia to other university groups from the United States and from around the world.

Rohini Seneviratne, Abu Dhabi
I attended the WIAD function addressed by Mr. Ali Alsaloom on the topic -“The Gulf: It’s People & Cultureâ€. This is my 20th year in the UAE, a country I love very much & feel so safe and happy to be in. However, I had never really been initiated into the true unadulterated version of its history, culture & religion, & finally, the year we hope to retire & go back to Sri Lanka, I live to learn through Mr. Ali.I was spellbound by his presentation. Mr. Ali is truly an ambassador for the Gulf. His presentation was articulate, informative & liberally laced with humour. His personality was one of great charm. He lived & breathed his subject matter & imparted his knowledge & experience leaving 80 odd ladies thirsting for more.
