Al Mahatah Museum (al sharjah)
Was first used as a motel for passengers in transit or residents for a short term. The area was a big project in which many buildings were constructed. One of these buildings was Al Mahatah Fort (the present museum. Besides, there was the control tower, land service center, maintenance workshops, number of hangars for airplanes and a large runway for departure and arrival, subway runway for parking and provision for servicing aircraft.

Hisn Al Sharjah
Al-Hisn (Fort) Museum, used to be the residence of the ruling family in Sharjah for about 200 years. It is the home for the beloved memories the Sharjah people inherited generation after another. A social centre and a public forum where citizens used to meet in their happy and sad occasions, it became the symbol of their pride as well as their safe resort. As it is tradition to the other heritage museums of Sharjah, Al Hisn Museum receives its visitors with coffee and dates, the symbol of Arab welcome and hospitality.
