Regardless of whether you are here on visit, business or even as a resident. The following brief guidelines should help in giving you an idea of what to keep in mind in terms of cultural etiquette.

Prayer

Muslims are obliged to pray 5 times a day, so please be understanding if one has to take a prayer break during work hours.

Greetings

Start getting used to Arabs greeting you with “Asalam Aleikom” it is our way of saying hello and it means “ Peace be with you”. The appropriate way to reply back is to say “Wa Aleikom el Salam” which means “ And peace be with you too”
