“ What not to wear” is a nice program I saw the other day on MBC 4 channel! So, “what not to wear while you are in UAE?”... Anything which is uncovering sensitive parts of your body is what you are advised not to wear in here. Conservative clothing is the general clothing dress in UAE especially in business and formal meetings. Otherwise, anything can be acceptable to a limit except for some emirates like Sharjah. In Dubai, however, Dress code is liberal compared to other Middle Eastern cities, particularly in the residential western expat areas where women wear shorts and sleeveless shirts. On the other hand, Abu Dhabi is more conservative than Dubai and as a mark of respect it is advisable for women to dress accordingly.
